Compensation and Insurance Information

I am a registered practitioner with the Body Stress Release Association Netherlands (BSRAN) and CAT Reimbursable. I also hold MBK certification according to PLATO standards.

Some Dutch health insurers partially cover BSR sessions under body-oriented therapy (performance code 24608), depending on your additional insurance. Insurers that (may) reimburse in 2025 include:

  • Aevitae (from level 3)

  • De Christelijke Zorgverzekeraar (from Mediumpolis)

  • De Friesland (from AV Standaardpolis)

  • FBTO (partial, only if 'Alternative Medicine' module was activated in 2020)

  • Menzis (from Extra Verzorgd 2)

  • ONVZ

  • VvAA

  • Zilveren Kruis (from Aanvullend Twee Sterren)

Check your policy or contact your insurer to confirm your coverage. Information is carefully compiled, but no rights can be derived from it, and changes may occur.

Complaints Procedure
As a CAT therapist, I follow the Wkkgz legal framework. Complaints are handled by the independent disputes body for alternative therapists (GAT). For details, visit gatgeschillen.nl. I also follow the GAT professional code, which you can read here.

Professional Association – BSRAN
The BSRAN is the official professional body for BSR practitioners in the Netherlands and part of the global BSRA network. It ensures quality, professionalism, and continuity in BSR as a safe, preventive, and supportive health practice.
